Ted's Montana Grill

Today we ate at Ted's Montana Grill in the Power and Light District. It was a packed house with all of the fans watching the Big XII tournament. We went towards the end of the Colorado vs Oklahoma game and apparently got there just in time. They told us it would be a 40-45 minute wait, but surprisingly enough it was only a 15 minute one. Right as we were being seated, several more people came in the door looking for a good meal.

As would be expected of this establishment, Bison was a main dish on the menu. Reasonably priced at $22.99 for an 11oz KC strip of it and $23.99 for a 14 oz ribeye, it was surprising to me. I ordered the ribeye and it was a delicious meal of Bison steak, roasted asparagus, a loaded baked potato and a biscuit. A very good meal indeed. My wife ordered the Brick Chicken plate and had a cheese and bell pepper topping on a chicken breast. A side of broccoli and baked potato accompanied her meal. It was a reasonable $9.99.

So not only is it a little bit different (it serves Bison) but it's also very reasonable. They had delicious looking dessert, but we were all too full to try any of it.

All in all, a good place to go. I think I can safely say that we will be returning to that establishment once we try the rest in the P&L district!

Have you had your helping of Bison today?
